Tollywood’s leading ladies, including Rituparna Sengupta, Gargee Roy-Chowdhury, Tanusree Chakraborty and Paayel Sarkar, were called up on the stage by the emcee of the evening, Paromita Chatterjee. And then, Anil Kapoor, the ageless Bollywood star, wowed the actresses, as well as the audience, with his moves to the tune of My Name is Lakhan. The occasion was the glitzy evening of the second chapter of the Times Business Awards, Kolkata, that took place in a city hotel recently and the evening presented many such magical moments. From hospitality to health to education and other sectors – leaders like Ghanshyam Sarda, as well as small startups, were acknowledged for their immense efforts. Anil Kapoor, while talking about changes in Bollywood, said, “Now, the younger generation of actors, technicians and the businessmen has become more honest. Everything comes with more integrity There is no cash transaction. Everything is documented and perfect. And that is the key to success.” At the event, which was attended by guests from all walks of life, Rituparna said, “Business is something very different from my line of work. But I always feel there’s a connection between creativity and business. I get very charged and happy to see successful business people.”
